The segment will expand when Skoda and Volkswagen launch their new sedans

Sales of cars in the C-segment sedan class did improve over July last year, but the numbers are not very inspiring. In first place sits the Honda City with 3627 unit sales, followed by the Hyundai Verna, which had a dismal outing in July 2021.

Maruti retailed 1450 units of its Ciaz, while Skoda sold 793 units of the Rapid. Volkswagen’s Vento was driven home by 186 buyers, but only 5 fancied purchasing the Toyota Yaris.
