2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Price Hike
Dealers claim the diesel version will be available soon and deliveries will commence from January 2023

Toyota Innova Crysta diesel to return soon!

Toyota recently stopped taking bookings for the Innova Crysta diesel variants. Some rumours said that Toyota will completely stop selling diesel powered cars in the country henceforth.

The Japanese carmaker responded to these rumours saying the diesel variants have not been discontinued. They halted the bookings to cater to the existing demand.

Now, this claim from the carmaker seems to be true as some dealerships have revealed that the company will resume the bookings of the MPV soon.

This time around, the Crysta’s range topping ZX trim will only get the diesel engine option. The allocation will be much less than before but the oil burner cars will start arriving at the dealerships from January 2023.

This will be a big sigh of relief for those who are only looking for the diesel powered Innova and are not at all interested to buy the petrol variants, not even the next gen Innova HyCross that will only come with petrol and petrol hybrid powertrain options.

Toyota is expected to commence the bookings of the Innova HyCross from 25th November. Deliveries likely to begin soon after.
