Toyota Yaris Black Edition Teased On Website, Launch Soon

Toyota has teased the Yaris Black Edition on its website and the same will be launched soon in our country.

The limited edition car, as its name suggests, will come with a black paint scheme, while there will be chrome garnish on the headlights and tail lamps, Furthermore, there will be light strips installed in the door cards, possibly only in the front ones.

Chrome trim that was on the door handles have been ditched for the Toyota Yaris Black edition, while there are new alloy wheels as well. No changes are likely to be made inside, but we can expect Toyota to reveal further details about the car in the coming days.

Otherwise, it is business as usual with the Yaris that comes with features such as seven airbags, disc brakes on all corners, ABS, EBD, VSC, HSA, tyre pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps, parking sensors all round and a reverse camera, among others.

Powering the sedan would be the same 1.5-litre petrol unit that produces 107 PS and 140 Nm while transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT auto. We do not expect fuel economy figures of the car to change with the new Black edition, since the changes are expected to be purely cosmetic.
