Triumph Tiger 850 Sport Accessories
There are plenty of accessories and luggage range options on offer

Triumph has launched the Tiger 850 Sport in India with a price tag of Rs. 11.95 lakhs (ex-showroom), which makes it the the most affordable adventure bike from the brand.

Visually, there is very little to differentiate the Tiger 850 Sport from the Tiger 900 GT, for it is built on the bigger adventure motorcycle’s platform, but the model-specific graphics are a giveaway.

Featuring all-LED lighting, the Tiger 850 Sport also has a 5-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12 V power socket, the motorcycle can be had either in Graphite and Diablo Red or Graphite and Caspian Blue colours.

It is more of a road-focused adventure bike, and the British brand has given riders a 2-step adjustable seat and adjustable flyscreen as well.

At the heart of the motorcycle is a 888cc 3-cylinder engine, good for 84 BHP at 8500 RPM and 82 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

Two riding modes – Road and Rain – are on offer on the bike that has a switchable traction control system. The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport price also gets owners 45 mm Marzocchi USD forks upfront and adjustable Marzocchi rear shock.

Twin 320 mm discs with Brembo Stylema 4 piston calipers and a single 255 mm disc with Brembo single piston caliper do the braking duty at the front and rear while ABS provides added safety.

Weighing in at 192 kg (dry), the Tiger 850 Sport, which competes against the BMW F 750 GS, also comes with a range of accessories for comfort, style, security, among others.
