Our sources confirm that the TVS Apache RR 310S is expected to be launched in early 2018, probably before or during the Auto Expo. Meanwhile, there are speculations that the flagship Apache will be launched by this November. However, nothing is certain as of yet, as TVS hasn’t given any official launch timeline for the Apache 310.

The motorcycle continues testing and has been spotted yet again. The recent spy shots reveal the mirrors being placed on the windscreen and the presence of the rear tyre hugger and pillion handle grips. The bike is camouflaged in red unlike the silver colour which we have been seeing so far.

The flagship Apache is based on the BMW G310R. It borrows the chassis, engine, wheels, brakes, exhaust and suspension from the Bimmer. Powering the Apache 310 is a 313cc single-cylinder motor that punches out 34 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

ABS is likely to be offered as an option. The Apache RR 310S is expected to be priced at around the Rs. 1.6 – 1.8 lakh mark. The Apache RR 310S will rival the KTM RC 390.
