New launches from the various manufacturers to bank on the 2018 festive season continue with TVS slated to launch a 110cc commuter motorcycle on the 23rd of August.

The new commuter motorcycle will have a new design language and graphics to look apart from TVS’s existing motorcycles like the StaR City+ and the Victor. Not much is known about the details yet but it will in all likelihood be done to attract the young and older generations alike.

The 110cc engine will be borrowed from the TVS Victor that gives the right power output, rideability and efficiency for city commuting. The engine on the Victor currently produces 9.5 HP at 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 9.4 Nm at 6000 RPM. The company claims a mileage of 72 km/l which makes it very economical to ride and will be the correct choice for the TVS Radeon.

The TVS Radeon is also likely to get modern features like an all-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. The exact details will be known only on 23rd August when the bike is officially revealed.

The TVS Victor is already a renowned name in the commuter bike segment and the new TVS Radeon is expected to experience the same faith with its upright seating position that is comfortable for the city commuters. The new graphics, bodywork and features will give it that added premium feel.
