Bangalore has always been a home to innovative mechanics who spend time understanding modifications on bikes, scooters or anything with wheels.

Now here is an instance of a Bangalore based mechanic who has put two months of time in making a TVS Scooty Pep look like a KTM Duke. The cost for this modification is Rs. 60,000/- and can be even done on a Honda Activa. Wait, why do this when Rs. 60,000/- will get you a second hand Duke 200?

The modified Scooty gets KTM Duke like headlamps, fuel tank, trellis frame, rear mudguard and an underbelly cowl. The modified scooter is suspended via telescopic front forks and a single-sided coil spring. The modified scooter also gets a custom exhaust that makes for a meaty note. The trellis frame has been finished in orange to give it the proper Duke look.

Powering the stock Scooty Pep is a 87.8cc single-cylinder engine that produces 5 HP and 5.8 Nm of torque. Being so small in its form, this modified scooter definitely will not be suitable for tall riders but this thing definitely is fun to look at and going by the words of the rider in the video, it’s fun to ride as well.
