TVS Scooty Pep+ Mudhal Kadhal Edition Launched, Priced At Rs. 56,085/-
It is a limited edition model launched exclusively in Tamil Nadu ahead of the Pongal festival.
TVS has launched the Scooty Pep+ Mudhal Kadhal (first love) edition with a price tag of Rs. 56,085/- (ex-showroom, Chennai).
This limited edition variant of the Scooty Pep+ has been launched exclusively for customers in Tamil Nadu ahead of the 3-day-long Pongal festival that begins on 14th January 2021.
It comes with a new Bronze and Silver colour along with new graphics, while the seat is covered in Black and Brown upholstery with contrast stitching.
As can be seen from the images, scooter’s logo is in Tamil, which TVS says in a first in the industry, and there is also a 3D emblem.
No mechanical changes have been made to the TVS Scooty Pep+ Mudhal Kadhal edition. Thus, it continues to be powered by a 87.8cc engine that develops a maximum of 5.36 HP and 6.5 Nm of torque.
Although the 2-wheeler manufacturer has stated that it is a limited edition model, it is not known how many units TVS has planned to sell and for how long.
Due to it coming with a new colour option, it costs a bit more than the regular Scooty Pep+ range, the asking price of which starts at Rs. 54,475/- (ex-showroom, Chennai).
It must be noted that back in 2019, the scooter celebrated 25 years of sales and has evolved continuously over the years.
It still regularly finds a good number of takers. In November 2020, for example, the small scooter fetched close to 6900 unit sales for the manufacturer.
