TVS is likely to introduce their first cruiser motorcycle by early next year.

TVS Zeppelin 3
The concept motorcycle was equipped with a 220cc engine and an electric motor

The TVS Zeppelin cruiser motorcycle concept grabbed a lot of attention at the 2018 Auto Expo. The fancy cruiser concept was loaded with features and had a mild hybrid tech. The styling of the TVS Zeppelin was quite fresh and modern.

The production version of the TVS Zeppelin concept is expected to launch in India early next year. The TVS Draken and TVS Akula concepts made into production after two years as TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Apache RR 310. Similarly we can expect the Indian bike maker to introduce their first cruiser after two years of showing the concept.

TVS isn’t participating at the 2020 Auto Expo but we expect the bike maker to introduce their new cruiser bike ahead of the biennial auto show. It is likely to be priced under Rs. 2 lakhs and will compete against the Bajaj Avenger and Suzuki Intruder.

The TVS Zeppelin concept had a 220cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine with “E-boost” tech. It is an integrated starter generator system with 1200W electric generator and 48V lithium-ion battery that works like a mild hybrid tech for the bike.

The concept had LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, petaled spoke alloy wheels, adjustable brake and clutch levers, toothed belt drive, keyless go, HD camera, Bio-key start and a single-arm rear mudguard hugger with number plate holder. We hope the production bike comes with such features.
