Benelli-TRK-800-Spied
While this looks a lot like the Tiger 900, the production-variant of the TRK 800 will have a similar design to the TRK 502

A QJ Motor test video throws light on the upcoming Benelli TRK 800. QJ Motor (Qianjiang Group) is the parent company of the Italian manufacturer- Benelli.

Initially, the Benelli TRK 800 was going to arrive in September 2020, but thanks to the pandemic, the bike will probably arrive by the end of 2020.

A video is going around social media, which shows the QJ group testing the SRB 750 extensively. Although the SRB 750 will be exclusive to the Chinese market, the TRK 800 is said to have taken inspiration from the SRB 750.

However, Benelli has said that since the R&D and designing of the bike will be in Italy, it will probably be similar to the younger TRK 502. They also claim that the TRK 800 will differ completely from the SRB 750, except for the powerhouse.

Coming to the powerhouse, the TRK is likely to come with Benelli’s new 754cc parallel-twin engine, which makes around 80 PS of power and 65 Nm of torque. This is the same engine that the Benelli Leoncino 800 and the 752S power cruiser get.

We expect the Benelli TRK 800 to be feature-rich, and it will probably get a TFT display, long travel suspension, engine guard, riding modes, spoke wheels, etc. Further, to enhance its off-road capabilities, the bike might get a 21-inch front wheel and a 19-inch rear wheel.

Lastly, the Benelli TRK 800 is likely to arrive in India sometime next year. It will rival the Ducati Multistrada 950, Triumph Tiger 900, and the BMW F 750 GS. We expect that if priced aggressively, this might become one of the best-selling Benelli’s in India.
