American-made Victory Motorcycles sales have commenced in the Indian dealerships across the country. For now, the new entrant has 12 motorcycles under four different segments.
Victory Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycles are part of same parent company- Polaris. Polaris had earlier introduced Indian Motorcycles before Victory Motorcycles in order to tackle the obvious competition from the home company. Sources have now revealed that Polaris is now ready to bring Victory Motorcycles in the market and that too, through Indian Motorcycles dealerships.
Being part of the same parent company, Victory Motorcycles and Indian bikes have the same platform for many of their bikes. They both serve as options for high-end bikes for those enthusiasts who adore exclusive bikes. Although there is no official disclosure from Polaris’ end but the news of their availability in the Indian Motorcycles dealerships has already set many tongues wagging.
No official announcement has been made in this regard yet. Moreover, the pricing of the Victory motorbikes is still not confirmed. The exact quotation including the taxation, duty fee and logistics expenses have yet to be taken into account from the company’s end. Presently, Indian dealerships are expected to be well-equipped to provide services to Victory Motorcycles under their supervision as both the companies share same platforms and substructure.
The company started producing the largest engine motorcycles in the year 1999 to compete with American motorcycle giant, Harley Davidson with its V-twin engines and touring, sport-touring, and cruiser configurations. Polaris, with its Victory Motorcycles and the Indian range of bikes have made its impression in the high-end touring bike segments. For now, those waiting for Victory Motorcycles impatiently may have to wait for a period of 15 to 30 days for delivery from the booking date depending upon the model of the bike.
