Hero expands Vida lineup with new VX2 Go 3.4kWh electric scooter variant
Hero MotoCorp has broadened its presence in the electric scooter market with the introduction of the Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh variant. Priced at Rs. 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi, including applicable subsidies), the model also comes with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option starting at Rs. 60,000, combined with a pay-per-kilometre rate of 90 paise, according to the company.
Equipped with a 3.4kWh dual-battery setup, the new variant is claimed to deliver a real-world riding range of around 100 km. The removable nature of both batteries aims to enhance day-to-day usability, enabling riders to charge them conveniently at home or the workplace.
Powering the VX2 Go 3.4kWh is an electric motor that produces a 6kW peak output and 26 Nm of torque. The scooter supports Eco and Ride modes and can reach a maximum speed of 70 km/hr. Designed with commuting practicality in mind, it features a flat floorboard, 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, and suspension calibrated for Indian road conditions.
With this launch, the VIDA VX2 portfolio now consists of the VX2 Go 2.2kWh, VX2 Go 3.4kWh and VX2 Plus variants. Hero MotoCorp has confirmed that customer deliveries of the new model will begin across VIDA dealerships from November 2025.
