
VIDA VX2 Launched, Priced From Rs. 59,490 With BaaS Subscription Model
Hero has launched the VIDA VX2. It is the electric sub-brand’s entry-level offering. VIDA VX2 comes in two variants and offers a Battery-as-a-Service subscription model. VIDA VX2 starts at Rs. 59,490 (ex-showroom).
Variants Pricing
The VIDA VX2 is available in two variants i.e. VX2 Plus and VX2 Go. Without the BaaS option, the VX2 Go is priced at Rs. 99,490 (ex-showroom), and VX2 Plus is priced at Rs. 1.1 Lakh (ex-showroom). The BaaS model reduces the prices to Rs. 59,490 (ex-showroom) and Rs. 64,990 (ex-showroom) for the VX2 Go and VX2 Plus, respectively. The brand claims a price of Rs. 0.96 per Km for BaaS plans, which depend on usage patterns.
Battery Capacity & Range
The EV scooter comes with two removable battery packs with a capacity of 3.4 kWh, providing an IDC range of 142 Km in the VX2 Plus variant. A 2.2 kWh battery pack powers the VX2, offering an IDC range of 92 Km.
Charging Information
VIDA states that the battery has fast charging capability, replenishing from 0% to 80% in just an hour. There is also an AC charger bundled with the e-scooter, charging from 0% to 80% in about 6 hours.
Features
Notably, the VIDA VX2 is the only scooter in the segment to offer remote immobilisation and cloud connectivity for security. VX2 Plus provides a 4.3-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, real-time ride statistics, telemetry, and Firmware Over-The-Air updates (FOTA). VIDA equips the VX2 Go with a 4.3-inch LCD screen.
It includes practical features such as a spacious 33.2-litre under-seat storage. It provides enough space to store a helmet and allows for battery removal. VIDA VX2 also features 12-inch wheels, providing good handling in tricky situations compared to the competition.
