Volkswagen has launched the Connect Edition of the Polo, Ameo and Vento.

Volkswagen has launched the Connect Edition of Polo, Ameo and Vento. The Connect Edition cars get a new Lapiz Blue exterior paint job and some feature updates while the mechanicals remain completely the same.

Apart from the paint job, these models sport a Connect badge on the fender. The Connect Edition cars get 16-inch Portago Grey alloy wheels, the roof and side foil get glossy treatment and the ORVMs are finished in black carbon. The cars also get leather seats, aluminium pedals, illuminated glovebox, rear USB ports and a Connect dongle.

The Connect App can be used on both Android and iOS. The app tracks your trips, shares the last parked location, monitors your trip-wise fuel cost, studies driver’s driving behaviour, reminds about the next scheduled service and in case of an emergency it also does SOS calls. The Connect dongle gathers the data from the onboard diagnostics (OBD) port of the car which can be seen on the smartphone of the driver. The Connect Edition Vento comes equipped with dual front airbags.

The seats of Polo GT and Polo are wrapped in Chequered and Leatherette seat fabrics respectively. Apart from the above, there are no other changes. The Polo and Ameo range starts from Rs. 5.55 lakhs and 5.65 lakhs respectively, while the Vento variants are priced from Rs. 8.38 lakhs. (all prices, ex-showroom).
