The German carmaker has showcased a wide range of SUVs for the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2020. One of them is the T-Roc that was confirmed for India launch last year.

The Volkswagen T-Roc will be positioned under the Tiguan in the German carmaker’s India lineup. The styling is quite youthful and appeals to the youngsters thanks to the bright colour combinations on offer and funky interior styling too that matches the colour of the exterior.

There is a hint of Audi Q2 in the design of the Volkswagen T-Roc and it looks quite premium. It is based on the company’s MQB platform and will be imported via CBU initially in India.

The price will be announced in the next few weeks. The Volkswagen T-Roc will get a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol BS6 compliant engine with 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

We can expect the German carmaker to offer the Volkswagen T-Roc with a price tag of Rs. 20 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Indian version has a higher ground clearance compared to the model sold internationally.
