Yamaha finally launched the much awaited FZ16 in Goa. The bike is priced at Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom). The company is targeting to sell 30,000 units of the FZ16 by the year end. Stay tuned for test ride review of the FZ16.

“Going forward, products unique to the Indian market such as the R15 and the newly launched FZ16 will play a major role in the revitalisation of Yamaha here. Our two new motorcycles were specifically designed for India. We would continue designing products specifically for this market which reflect global Yamaha DNA. Going forward, we want to be perceived as a premium bike maker in India with which youth of this country identifies,” India Yamaha Motor CEO and Managing Director Tsutomu Mabuchi said.
