The Yamaha SZ-RR V2 gets a new matte green colour to be sold at Rs. 67,664/- while all the other colours experience a price hike of Rs. 600/-.

Yamaha has made extensive updates to its lineup by discontinuing the FZ-S carb and increasing the prices of fuel-injected variants of the FZ and Fazer. The R15 V2 also received three new colours with a price hike of Rs. 4000/-. The automaker has not left out its entry-level 150cc motorcycle, the SZ-RR V2 as it received a new matte green colour to be sold at Rs. 67,664/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), the same colour has also been added to FZ-S FI lineup.

The new colour will be offered along side the existing colours which include ivory white, red dash and green arrow. These colours will now be sold at a premium of Rs. 600/- over the existing prices which makes the price go up to Rs. 66,664/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Yamaha SZ-RR V2 is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 12.1 PS at 7500 RPM and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM while mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The new colour is offered with the same engine without any mechanical changes.

The Yamaha SZ-RR V2 in the new matte green colour was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo where the Japanese automaker was expected to launch the M-Slaz and MT-03 but only the MT-09 was launched while the company plans to launch the Cygnus Ray ZR scooter in the near future.
