The iconic British bike manufacturer, Triumph unveiled its line of amazing motorcycling portfolio at the 2012 Auto Expo. The company launched not just one or 2 but in total 7 models at the 5 day show of automobile extravaganza. Among the bikes showcased were the Bonneville, the Speed Triple, the Tiger 800XC, the Storm and the Rocket III and the super sports bike Daytona 675. The Bonneville is a bike for you if you love classics and ‘old is gold’ styling. The Bonneville is powered by an air cooled DOHC parallel twin 865cc engine that with a multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection. The exhaust comes with stainless steel headers and twin chrome coated silencers. It develops a maximum power of 67 BHP @ 7500 RPM and 68Nm of torque @ 5800 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The bike rides on 100/90 R19 at the front and 130/80 R17 at the rear. Braking is done via a 2 piston calliper 310 disc at the front and a 2 piston calliper 265mm disc at the rear.

The Tiger X800C is a true off-roader motorcycle which is equipped with a 3 cylinder, liquid cooled, 12 valve DOHC 800cc engine producing 94 BHP of power @ 9300 RPM and 79 Nm @ 7850 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox and measures a total 2215 mm long, 865mm wide and 1390mm high. Saddle height stands at 1545mm with a kerb weight of 215kg. It rides on 90/90 ZR 21 tires at the front and 150/70 ZR 17 tires at the back. Its instrument cluster features LCD multi-functional instrument pack with digital speedometer, trip computer, analogue tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, service indicator, switchable ABS and clock. The Speed Triple is a complete naked sports bike powered by a 3 cylinder, liquid cooled, 12 valve 1050cc engine producing 133 BHP of power @ 9400 RPM and 111 Nm of torque @ 7750 RPM mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Designed on an aluminium beam twin spar chassis with single sided, aluminium alloy with eccentric chain adjuster, it measures 2086 mm in length, 1033 mm wide and 825mm high. Saddle height stands at 825mm with a kerb weight of 214kgs.

The Daytona 675, one of the show stoppers at the 2012 Auto Expo is a proper super sports bike to have loads of fun with at the track. It is powered by a liquid cooled, 12 valve DOHC 3 cylinder 675cc engine producing 124 BHP of power @ 12,600 RPM and a hefty torque of 72 Nm @ 11,700 RPM. Underneath, it houses an Aluminium beam twin spar with Braced, twin-sided, aluminium alloy with adjustable pivot position swingarm. Stopping power is provided by Twin 308mm floating discs at the front and a Single 220mm disc at the rear. The instrument cluster features LCD multi-functional instrument pack with digital speedometer, trip computer, analogue tachometer, lap timer, gear position indicator and programmable gear change lights and clock. The Bonneville is priced at Rs. 5.5 lakhs, the Street Triple at Rs 5.75 lakh, the respected supersports Daytona 675 at Rs 7 lakh and Speed Triple for Rs 8 lakh. Tiger 800XC will be offered for Rs 11.40 lakh while the cruiser, Storm will come in at Rs 17 lakh. The Rocket III Roadster will come for approximately Rs 22 lakh.
