KTM Duke 200 has witnessed massive YoY downfall

200-500cc bike sales in June, 2022, – Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruiser has, at last, made it to the list

In June, 2022, 200-500cc bike sales had some twists and turns. After a long time an old Bajaj bike has got featured in the top-selling list and this development will give the much needed boost to the Chakan-based bike manufacturer.

At number 1, Royal Enfield Classic 350 overtook every other bike by a huge margin. Selling more than a quarter lakh units, it witnessed a YoY growth of a healthy 46 percent. The second place was taken by Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and ES.

Both sold a combined 10,256 units with a growth of 21 percent. At number 3, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 held on to its place selling 8645. But, unfortunately, it couldn’t replicate last year’s numbers.

Surprisingly, Hero Xpulse 200 series of bikes have sold well and have taken the fourth place. They have recorded 4642 unit sales with an excellent YoY growth of 153 percent. The Royal Enfield Himalayan and Scram 411 closely followed at fifth place.

Interestingly, the adventure bikes have witnessed the highest YoY growth of 560 percent. This is 1 of the best performances of these bikes. At number 6, Classic Legends’ offerings registered a combined sales of 3294 with a growth of 109 percent.

Honda H’ness CB350 and CB350RS distantly followed the Classic Legends’ offerings with a sales of 2120 units. The biggest development, however, is the grand entry of the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise.

It has come from the least-selling list to the top-selling list with an impeccable growth of 322 percent selling 2108 units. KTM Duke 200 took the ninth place selling 767 units. It has witnessed a massive de-growth of 45 percent.

The last place was taken by Yamaha FZ25 and S with a combined sales of 673 units and a YoY growth of 20 percent.
