A cheaper Mahindra Mojo variant was recently spotted as a test mule with a plethora of changes. The bike now loses its USD forks, one of its two silencers and also the Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system from its 300cc engine.

Mahindra Mojo Changes In Spied Model
A lot of significant changes were spotted on the test mule

A cheaper Mahindra Mojo variant was spotted recently in Lonavala in a different guise with quite a few visible changes. The Mojo is a perfect buy for people who love a comfortable ride, loaded with upmarket features. The bike currently takes on a lot of mixed rivals from companies like KTM, Bajaj and Honda.

The spotted bike had visible changes that proved a point. It had just a single silencer, compared to the existing two and also used a regular telescopic front suspension instead of the stock, thick USD forks as seen on the current Mojo. The exclusion of these features might mean that the company is either looking to trim down the model or launch a completely new one based on the same.

The much needed sales increase for the brand, will be bestowed upon the success of the Mahindra Mojo, which is its premium offering. The most telling difference was the hint of a carburettor setup on the test mule, which could throw the existing EFI out and place the bike at a significantly attractive price point.

It is also likely that the manufacturer will omit shiny bits from the cheaper Mahindra Mojo variant, like the twin-barrel headlamp assembly with DRLs. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres will also be replaced by corresponding MRF ones to cut down on lavish costs.
