The 2017 Maruti Swift DZire Tour will be launched after the launch of the new DZire this May. The 2017 DZire Tour will be based on the current generation Swift DZire which measures under 4-metres in length. In comparison, the old Swift DZire Tour measures over 4-metres in length. Maruti might fit in thinner seats for the front row, to liberate some more legroom for the rear occupants.

The new DZire Tour shall be available only in the LXi and LDi trims, which means most of the features like the automatic climate control, infotainment system, rear parking camera shall be missing. However, it is unclear whether Maruti will give it dual front airbags and ABS as standard.

Under the hood, the same 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine producing 74 HP of power and 190 Nm of peak torque will be offered. There is also the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that produces 84 HP of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. A CNG kit might be offered for some cities as well.
