The 2017 Yamaha R15 V3.0 has been launched in Indonesia and all details of the bike are revealed.

The highly anticipated 2017 Yamaha R15 has been launched in Indonesia. Pictures of the R15 V3.0 have been floating on the web since a lot of time. The looks of the bike have been highly improved and it looks much more sharper and sportier now. It might be easy to say that the 2017 Yamaha R15 is one of the best looking bikes in its segment.

The Yamaha R15 V3.0 comes with USD forks up front with a link type monocross rear set-up. The bike continues to come with the Deltabox frame which aids the bike’s dynamics. The bike also comes with Assist & Slipper Clutch which is usually seen on more powerful bikes. The new R15 gets 3 colour options – Racing Blue, Matte Black and Matte Red.

The R15 gets a fully digital instrument cluster which also comes with a shift timing light and gear position indicator. You can even make the LCD screen display your name. The tyre sizes are 100/80/17 at the front and 140/70/17 at the rear.

The 2017 Yamaha R15 is powered by a 155.1cc, fuel injected, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces 19.04 HP of power at 10,000 RPM and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The length, width and height of the bike are 1990 mm, 725 mm and 1135 mm. It weighs 137 kgs.
