Hyundai Creta Facelift Side Profile
The Creta facelift is expected to be launched in early 2018

The 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift has been spotted doing test runs in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu disguised by a covering. The image doesn’t reveal too many details about the car but what we can infer is that it could be launched in the market very soon.

At the Sao Paulo Auto Show, the Hyundai Creta facelift was showcased in November 2016 and it gave a slight glimpse of what it might offer. The front section sees major tweaks with the grille being hexagonal flaunting plenty of chrome over it. The bumper also goes through a change with bright LED DRLs and fog lamps being integrated within. The interiors don’t get many makeovers except for the slight design alterations and the addition of a new touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The details about the engine configurations have not been uncovered but we can expect the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift to come with ongoing options. If it does so, we will get two diesel variants including a 1.4-litre, 89 BHP trim and a 1.6-litre, 126 BHP version. As for the petrol, the ongoing 1.6-litre unit capable of 123 BHP will be available with gearbox options of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic for both the fuel types.
