Days before the Auto Expo, Mahindra has introduced the TUV300 compact SUV with the mHawk100 diesel engine. The company has added the mHawk100 diesel mill to the T4+ and T6+ variants of the SUV, which was otherwise limited to only the T8 and T10 trims. The automaker says the new T4+ and T6+ grades will be available across India with immediate effect. The T4+ and T6+ trims are priced at Rs. 8.02 lakhs and 8.59 lakhs respectively (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The 1.5-litre oil burner outputs 100 HP of power at 3750 RPM and 240 Nm of torque between 1600-2800 RPM. The lower end T4+ and T6+ trims are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only while the T8 and T10 variants are offered with an optional 5-speed AMT transmission too. Some of the other features offered in the 7-seater SUV are leatherette seats and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Dual airbags and ABS with EBD are standard across the range.

The vehicle is available in a choice of two dual-tone and five single-tone colours – Red and Black, Silver and Black, Pearl White, Bold Black, Dynamo Red, Molten Orange and Majestic Silver.
