The Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has launched its most awaited GranTurismo in the Indian market today. The new Maserati GranTurismo was globally unveiled at the Goodwood festival last year, the restyled version is similar to the original GranTurismo concept.

The Maserati GranTurismo gets two versions – Sports and MC. The 4.7-litre V8 engine is developed by Ferrari which generates 460 BHP and 520 Nm torque paired to 6-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

The design team of this car has collaborated with Pininfarina. The new shark-nose hexagonal grille is inspired by the Alfieri concept to add the 3D effect to the fascia. This grille helps to improve the airflow distribution and reduces aerodynamic drag from 0.33 to 0.32.

The GranTurismo offers the Poltrona Frau leather seats with integrated headrests. It gets a new high-resolution 8.4-inch touchscreen compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mirroring functions. The Maserati GranTurismo gets the Harman Kardon sound system on both Sport and MC versions as standard. Maserati has priced the GranTurismo at Rs. 2.25 crore (ex-showroom).
