The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been spotted testing again, this time around, via a YouTube video. Though the motorcycle is still wrapped in camouflage, we could get quite a few details about it.

The new Dominar 400 will have USD forks instead of the conventional telescopic ones. This will help the motorcycle adopt better handling and suspension. Moreover, as seen on the previous spy images, this particular test mule also has the dual exhaust system and the sound is throaty and thumping.

The fuel tank mounted display has been revised and it will now show more details such as gear position indicator, clock, fuel gauge, trip meter and odometer. However, the dual-channel ABS will be given as standard now, instead of optional. It is also likely to get new colours.

Mechanically, it is likely to carry a slightly tweaked engine and BS-VI compliance is expected, which will come into effect in 2020. The 373cc motor makes 34.5 BHP of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine. However, if it adopts the DOHC motor from the Duke 390, the power figures are expected to rise.

Bajaj may consider increasing the price for the new model by around Rs. 15,000/- due to the addition of dual exhaust and more premium USD forks. The present model comes for around Rs. 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai), and hence, the new model could be price around Rs. 1.8 lakhs.
