2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 gets upside-down forks

The power cruiser, Dominar 400 from Bajaj has seen a slow response since its launch. The Dominar 400 is offered with many features and at a very competitive price. However, an updated Dominar 400 is expected to launch before the end of this year. The spied image of the bike shows some major updates on the mechanical front.

The new Dominar 400 will be featured with upside-down front forks, however, the maker of the forks is still not confirmed. This change in suspension will surely enhance the riding dynamics and handling of the bike. The radiator on the new Dominar 400 is visually larger in size. Apart from the forks and radiator, the updated Dominar also gets a new twin exhaust end-can.

The engine of the updated bike is expected to get the ride by wire technology from the Duke 390 engine. Also, there will be some tweaks in the engine to make the Dominar BS-VI compliant and we can expect more power output from the engine. The ABS unit which is now optional is expected to be offered as standard in the new Dominar 400. Moreover, Bajaj may offer new colour schemes with the updated version of the bike. But with all these new additions, expect the price to be slightly more by Rs. 15,000-20,000/-.
