Updated version of Force Gurkha spotted testing

Force Motors has started testing the 2019 version of the Gurkha, the new car is expected to abide by the stringent crash test norms and is set to be updated profusely as the current version is an old-school build which won’t comply with the upcoming crash test norms.

Currently the Force Gurkha is available with 2 engine options – 2.2-litre unit producing 140 HP and 2.5-litre unit producing 85 HP. Both the engines are BS4 compliant and Force will update them to BS6 standards before the emission norms kick in.

The Gurkha SUV is seen with a revised styling to differentiate itself with the lower Trax range of the company. The car is also fitted with a dual-mass flywheel to lower the NVH levels. The launch timeline of the new model isn’t clear but it should happen in the next few months.
