Kawasaki had introduced the Versys 650 in 2015 in India. The company has now announced the 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 with a new colour scheme. Kawasaki will start its new Versys 650 delivery to the customers by this festive season.

The Versys 650 is now available in metallic moondust grey/metallic flat spark black colour. Apart from introducing a new colour, there are no mechanical changes. This bike is powered by the same 649cc parallel twin-cylinder engine which generates 69 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque.

The bike gets split headlamp, adjustable large windshield, long-travel suspension, 41 mm USD forks at the front and monoshock at the rear and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Versys 650 also gets 300 mm dual disc unit at the front and a 250 mm single disc at the rear along with dual-channel ABS.

Kawasaki assembles the Versys 650 at the Chakan plant in Pune along with the Ninja 300, Ninja 400, Ninja 650, Z250, Z650, Versys-X 300, Versys 650 and Vulcan S, Ninja 1000, ZX-10R and ZX-10RR. The company has priced this bike at Rs. 6.69 lakhs (ex-showroom) which makes it affordable compared to the newly launched Suzuki V-Strom 650XT. The customer can now book the Versys 650 at any of the 30 Kawasaki dealerships across India.
