For the price, the 2022 Kawasaki Versys 1000 remains an appealing package
India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2022 Versys 1000 with a price tag of Rs. 11.55 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India.
Available in a sole Candy Lime Green Type 3 paint option, the model year 2022 version of the touring motorcycle will be handed over to new customers from the middle of November.
Built on an aluminium twin-tube frame, the 2022 Versys 1000 price gets customers features such as LED headlamps, an adjustable flyscreen, semi-digital instrument cluster, power socket, and lots of electronics.
Some of the notable bits include electronic throttle valves, cruise control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Functions (KCMF), traction control and ABS.
It continues to be powered by a 1043cc, 4-cylinder engine that makes 120 PS at 9000 RPM and 102 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. It is teamed to a 6-speed gearbox.
Weighing 255 kg, the adventure tourer has a 21-litre fuel tank and rides on 17-inch wheels (120-section front tyre and 180-section rear rubber).
Featuring adjustable 43 mm inverted front fork (150 mm travel) and adjustable has-charged rear monoshock (152 mm travel), the Versys 1000’s braking system comprises dual 310 mm discs with radial mount 4-piston calipers up front and 250 mm rear disc with a single piston caliper.
Further, Kawasaki has announced the launch of K-CARE for the 2022 Versys 1000. This package includes extended warranty and annual maintenance contract for 4 years.
