The Mahindra TUV300 facelift was spotted testing on Indian streets. This compact SUV will be launched in 2019 with some styling tweaks. The automaker is planning to launch a wide range of variants so that they cater to a broader range of customers.

According to the spy images, the TUV300 facelift will get a new X-shaped spare wheel cover which gives it muscular looks and it is expected to run on newly designed alloy wheels. On the inside, there is a new touchscreen infotainment system which is expected to have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. It will also get LED daytime running lights.

This vehicle will get a stronger body structure to surpass India’s new crash test norms that will become applicable on all cars from October 2019. Mahindra will continue to offer dual front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard.

The current Mahindra TUV300 is powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine that generates 100 BHP and 240 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox. In the future, we are also expecting the 9-seater version TUV300 Plus to receive a similar makeover along with a BS6 compliant engine.

Before the TUV300 facelift, Mahindra will be launching the flagship SUV likely to be named as the XUV700 and a compact SUV which is codenamed S201.
