The TUV300 now gets a new headlight design with new grille and bumper

Mahindra is updating their entire lineup with BS6 compliant engine options. The Indian UV maker is not planning to axe diesel engines, they will continue to offer diesel engines for both small and big cars with BS6 compliance.

The Mahindra TUV300 facelift has been spotted recently by MotorBeamer Aalaap. The compact SUV comes with some changes over the existing model. The exterior styling gets mild updates while the interior is expected to get some updates as well.

The front profile now gets a new headlight design along with a revised grille. The signature multi-slat Mahindra grille will continue to be offered but with slight changes for a fresh look.

The front bumper has been updated too with new fog lamp housing and sleeker styling details instead of the plain and squarish design of the current model.

The side profile will remain more or less the same but we expect the carmaker to introduce new alloy wheel design with this update.

The rear profile comes with revised bumper and what’s immediately noticeable here is the spare wheel cover which looks new. The tail lights also get some revisions.

The interior is also expected to get some improvements like new colour scheme, updated infotainment system, new instrument cluster, etc. We hope Mahindra improves the ride quality of the TUV300 with this update since the car is quite bouncy over bad bumps.

The new TUV300 is expected to be introduced by April 2020. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre BS6 diesel engine that currently produces 101 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. The power output is likely to remain more or less the same with the BS6 update.

The TUV300 is currently offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. The AMT gearbox was lately discontinued but with this update, we hope Mahindra gets back the AMT option with the TUV300.
