2021 Audi S5 Sportback Teased, India Launch Soon

Audi India has released a teaser image of the 2021 S5 Sportback ahead of its official launch which will take place this month.

For the 2021 model year, the S5 5-door Sportback has sporty styling. The large front grille is flanked by sharp-looking LED headlights, while side air inlets sit below them. Further, a small front splitter is also present.

Aluminium-effect door mirror housings, 19-inch alloy wheels, strong shoulder line and sloping roofline can be seen along the sides, while at the rear, there are LED tail lamps, rear spoiler and quad exhaust pipes.

The performance car also comes with puddle lamps (Audi Beam), illuminated door sills, a fairly decent 430-litre boot and it can be had in any of the multiple exterior colours that are on offer, including the Turbo Blue shade seen on the 2021 Audi S5 Sportback teaser image.

Inside, although the theme is dark, the performance vehicle will come with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with model-specific graphics, electrically adjustable front seats, Nappa leather upholstery, 3-zone climate control, LED interior lighting pack, among others.

Audi also equips the model with cruise control, keyless go, power-operated tailgate, parking sensors, rear-view camera, and plenty of driver assistance and safety features.

Power comes from a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine that makes 349 HP and 500 Nm that comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends the power to all 4 wheels. This enables the model to do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in just 4.5 seconds.

Equipped with a sport rear differential, the 2021 S5 Sportback comes with sport suspension and should cost around Rs. 65 lakhs (ex-showroom).
