2021 Mahindra XUV500 Cabin
The car has a very classy cabin for sure

Yet another 2021 Mahindra XUV500 mule has been spied on test and its new cabin can be seen as clear as day.

While much has been said about the twin digital screens inspired by Mercedes-Benz cars, let us stay clear of them, for this new spy shot reveals more new details.

The dashboard of this particular test mule seems to be wrapped in a leather-like material and the same goes for the multifunction steering wheel as well.

While the air vents, air-con control knobs, steering wheel buttons sport a chrome surround, there is a brushed metal-esque trim in the lower half of the dashboard (in which sits the start-stop button) that runs into the door cards.

What was pleasant to see, apart from the much modern 2021 Mahindra XUV500 cabin, is the presence of wood trim on the door cards. Once again, this is very similar to the type of wood design used by Mercedes.

Housed in the wood trim are the controls for the power adjustable front seats and we can expect at least the driver’s seat to feature memory function.

Coming to the centre console, which has the air-con controls, it is clear from the spy shot that there is at least 1 USB port in there, while the rotary audio system controller sits right in front of the cupholder and central armrest.

Earlier 2021 Mahindra XUV500 cabin spy shots have confirmed that the SUV will come with cruise control, electronic parking brake and a smattering of buttons for several other functions.

Expected to be a very safe automobile that will feature advanced driver assistance systems, the new generation XUV500 will come with 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine options and manual and automatic gearbox choices.
