2021 Mercedes A-Class Limousine Launched, Priced From Rs. 39.90 Lakhs

Mercedes-Benz India have launched the 2021 A-Class Limousine with a price tag that begins at Rs. 39.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).

Available in 3 variants – A200, A200d and AMG A35 – the car, as standard, has a striking radiator grille, LED headlights and tail lamps, and an overall, a class and well-rounded profile.

It has a classy interior with dual 10.25-inch displays (one for the driver and the other for the infotainment system) sitting atop the dashboard, cool-looking air vents, leather multifunction sports steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats with memory function.

Features offered as standard for the 2021 Mercedes A-Class Limousine price include MBUX with artificial intelligence, smartphone integration, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, reversing camera and cruise control.

In all, the regular variants of the premium sedan come with 5 exterior colour options and 2 interior upholstery choices with brown open-pore walnut wood trim.

The AMG variant comes with its own design elements such as the new radiator grille, bumpers, diffuser, circular exhaust pipes and sportier alloys, while inside, it gets Dimanica microfibre black interior upholstery with aluminium trim, Burmester Surround Sound system, sports steering wheel covered in Nappa leather and keyless go, apart from the features offered with the regular trims.

When it comes to the engine, the A200 variant is powered by a 1.3-litre turbo petrol with 163 HP and 250 Nm, the A200d gets a 2.0-litre turbo diesel heart making 150 HP and 320 Nm, while the AMG A35 model comes with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol that puts out 306 HP and 400 Nm.

The petrol engines get a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel has a 8-speed DCT auto, and, yes, the AMG variant has Mercedes’ 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.

Equipped with the latest safety systems, the 2021 A-Class Limousine also comes with a 3-year warranty and a separate 8-year warranty for the powertrain.
