The 2022 Aprilia SR 160 was spotted in the IT capital of the nation
Aprilia looks all set to ride in the model year 2022 SR 160 to the market and a couple of production-spec units of the scooter have been spotted already.
Seen at a dealer yard in Bengaluru, the updated scooter now has a new LED headlight with DRLs up front, and the design of the front panel has changed as well.
The recently seen 2022 Aprilia SR 160 also had a new housing for the handlebar, a revised seat, single-piece pillion grab handle and new graphics. Also the front mudguard has been given the carbon-fibre effect.
In addition, thanks to a previously spotted 2022 Aprilia SR 160 test mule, it is known that the updated scooter will sport the same digital instrument cluster as the Italian firm’s SXR range.
Mechanically, the 2022 SR 160 will remain unchanged. But, it should cost more than the 2021 model that is priced between Rs. 1.06 lakh and Rs. 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom) thanks to the additional features it has been bestowed.
