The 2022 model year Bajaj Dominar 400 could come with dual tone colour choices

Bajaj Auto is set to update its Dominar 400, for model year 2022, soon. Expect it come with new paint schemes, styling updates and possibly more features.

Looks like Bajaj is going to be pretty busy in the coming months. The firm which recently launched the dual tone editions of the Dominar 250 is set to introduce its quarter litre Pulsar(s) in November.

It has now come to light that in October, Bajaj will be putting on sale the revised Dominar 400 which has so far been receiving a lukewarm response from customers.

In July, an undisguised Dominar 400 in Aurora Green was seen with a flyscreen and knuckle guards and this could well be the 2022 model.

It is not known if the quarter litre Dominar’s dual tone paint schemes will be applied to the bigger model as well, but it should likely be the case.

Bajaj is not expect to change the core styling of the bike

At present, the naked motorcycle comes equipped with LED lights, twin digital displays, inverted front fork, dual channel ABS and a double barrel exhaust. These should be carried as is, but Bajaj might offer more features this time around.

However, no changes are expected to be made when it comes to the mechanical bits. The 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 will continue to be powered by a 373cc single cylinder motor good for 40 PS and 35 Nm of torque and the gearbox will be a 6-speed unit with a slipper clutch.

Price-wise, the 2021 Dominar 400 costs Rs. 2.11 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and given how the bike’s sales have been, Bajaj should keep the asking price of the 2022 model the same.
