2022 Toyota Glanza bookings officially commence
2022 Toyota Glanza was teased soon after new Maruti Baleno’s launch and now Toyota has officially started accepting bookings for their version of the updated model. Booking amount is Rs. 11,000/- and bookings can be placed both online as well as at the dealerships.
The Japanese carmaker will announce the pricing on 15th March and the deliveries will commence on the same day. We expect it to be priced very similar to the Maruti Baleno.
To differentiate the rebadged car with the original Baleno, Toyota has made some tweaks to the styling of the Glanza. It will get a different grille design up front and unique alloy wheel design as well. Interior is expected to be the same except for the black and beige colour tones and the Toyota logo on the steering wheel.
The equipment list is the same as the Baleno including the new 360 degree camera, HUD, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, auto-dimming IRVM, Alexa Connect, push button start-stop, full-LED lights, auto-folding ORVMs, etc.
It will also share the 1.2-litre motor which produces a maximum of 88.5 BHP and 113 Nm. It comes with idle start-stop tech, mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
