The 2022 Toyota Glanza will come with an overhauled list of features

Maruti launched the revised Baleno last month, now it is Toyota’s turn to introduce the 2022 Glanza, which will come with completely overhauled styling inside and out.

The model has been spotted already and this time around, the Glanza can be easily differentiated from the Baleno (apart from through the emblems) as it will come with a different front end design.

Interestingly, on the inside too, Toyota has made a slight change. The dashboard is still a dual tone unit, but it comes in the Black and Beige combination that will appeal to many a customer.

But, the 2022 Toyota Glanza features list will be identical to that of the 2022 Maruti Baleno’s list of equipment. As can be seen from the teaser videos attached above and below, the premium hatchback will come with goodies like voice assistance and a 360-degree camera.

It also has the same infotainment touchscreen (there will be 7- and 9-inch options) that the Baleno comes with and will get other features like a head-up display, auto-dimming IRVM, Alexa Connect, push button start-stop, tilt and telescopic adjustability for steering wheel, full-LED lights, auto-folding ORVMs, and more.

Unlike before, the Glanza will be offered with only a single petrol engine option. The premium hatchback will be powered by a 1.2-litre motor that is tuned to deliver a maximum of 88.5 BHP and 113 Nm. The unit which has idle start-stop tech can be paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT.

Expect Toyota to soon officially announce the booking amount for the car that will be launched in the market later this month, about a month after the 2022 Baleno was introduced.
