2022 Toyota Glanza Launched, Priced From Rs. 6.39 Lakhs

2022 Toyota Glanza price announced, slightly more expensive than the Baleno

2022 Toyota Glanza is here with a starting price of Rs. 6.39 lakhs (ex-showroom and introductory). The rebadged hatchback is available in four variants out of which three get AMT option. The Glanza is available in 5 colour options – red, grey, silver, blue and white.

In terms of looks, the Glanza gets a different grille, bumper and headlight design with a different pattern of LED DRLs compared to the Baleno. The 16-inch alloy wheels have a unique pattern as well.

Apart from the Toyota badging on the steering wheel and new colour tones for the dashboard, the interior looks exactly the same and offers the same features – head-up display, 360 degree camera, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Toyota i-Connect.

Other features include – Tilt and Telescopic Steering, Steering-mounted audio control with push start, Footwell & Courtesy Lamps, Auto EC IRVM, Cruise control, Rear AC Vents, UV Protect Glass, USB Rear and Auto AC.

Safety features on offer – 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, VSC, ISOfix, a TECT body and Hill Hold Control.

The outgoing Glanza was only available in two variants – G and V. This time around Toyota is offering two new affordable E and S variants to cater to a wider audience.

Powering the Glanza is the same 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 89 PS and 113 Nm torque. This engine is available with both 5-speed MT and AMT options. The MT returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.35 km/l while the AMT offers 22.94 km/l.
