2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Spied
Hyundai Creta to get a new identity with substantial changes

2024 Hyundai Creta to launch in India by the first quarter of next year

2024 Hyundai Creta spotted testing with heavy camouflage. The test mule reveals a lot of new styling details that will change the identity of the current generation model.

Hyundai will be introducing the facelifted version of the Creta next year and not a new generation model. However, the mid-cycle update will witness huge visual changes that will make it look very different compared to the current model on sale in India.

In some international markets Hyundai has already launched the facelift long time back with a revised grille and slightly tweaked lights. The Indian market won’t get those changes but instead will receive a big update as you can see in these spy images.

The front profile gets a massive parametric jewel grille with new design details. It also comes with a revised headlight setup which gets bumper integrated new LED lights and L-shaped DRLs positioned on top. Notice a camera on the grille, front sensors and radar equipment which hints us about the new features and ADAS tech that will be offered with the new model.

The side profile of the car that sheds some camouflage reveals the similar roofline and glass area. Even the front fender looks the same as the current model. However, you will notice a new set of diamond cut alloy wheels in one spy image which looks quite premium compared to the current ones being offered.

The rear profile is completely covered but you can see the LED tail light elements with H-shaped layout. This reminds us of the Exter design DNA. Seems like Hyundai is shifting gradually to this new design language which is less busy and accentuates the SUV character of a car. We have seen the same template with the upcoming Santa Fe that was spotted recently.

You can expect a new interior design as well with the updated Creta having a tweaked dashboard with a larger touchscreen system having new UI. The steering wheel is expected to get an updated design along with an all-digital instrument cluster offering high resolution display.

Hyundai will be offering ADAS, 360 degree camera, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, etc in the new Creta. Some of the tech will be borrowed from the Kia Seltos facelift.

Engine options are likely to be the same – 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The carmaker will be offering a choice of manual, IMT and automatic transmission options depending on the powertrain.

The Creta facelift is expected to hit the Indian showrooms in the first quarter of 2024. It will compete with a wide range of cars including Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and the upcoming Honda Elevate.
