2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift to get substantial changes

2024 Mahindra XUV300 latest test mules spotted with new details. The compact SUV will get second facelift but this time around there are some massive changes to make it look fresh. Just like the new Tata Nexon facelift, Mahindra is heavily revising the features and styling of the XUV300.

Apart from the updated soft parts of the compact SUV, there will be some sheet metal changes as well to make it look fresh and different. The front profile will get a new bonnet, new grille design and new C-shaped LED headlights with re-arranged LED DRLs.

The front and rear bumper will get a refresh. The new design is inspired by Mahindra BE concepts. The side profile will look the same but will come with new dual tone alloy wheels for a premium look. The rear will also get new tail gate along with C-shaped tail lamps and a connecting LED bar, which is the latest design trend in the Indian auto industry.

The interior too will get a completely new dashboard featuring a floating touchscreen infotainment system. The display looks larger than the current model on sale, it is likely to be over 10-inches. There are some physical buttons under the screen along with a volume knob. Mahindra will also provide a new digital cluster.

Some of the features expected with the new XUV300 include panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, 360 degree camera, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, 6 airbags, ESP, etc.

Mahindra will continue to offer the same engine options with the XUV300 facelift – 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 130 PS 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 117 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine.

It will compete with the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, etc. The new XUV300 is expected to go on sale early next year. What are your thoughts on these changes? Let us know in the comments section.
