Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS Updated, Gets Upgraded Suspension & Increased Power & Torque Output

Triumph has launched the updated Speed Triple 1200 RS in India. The brand has increased power and torque output as well as updated the suspension for 2025. The Speed Triple 1200 RS is priced at Rs. 20.39 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Styling

Triumph offers the Speed Triple 1200 RS in three colour schemes, i.e. Jet Black, Granite/Diablo Red, and Granite/Triumph Performance Yellow. Overall, the updated Speed Triple 1200 RS looks similar to the outgoing bike.

Engine

The same 1160cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder engine powers the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS. It now produces 183 HP and 128 NM of torque. This represents a 3 HP and 3 NM torque increase, achieved through the use of a free-flowing exhaust, compared to the outgoing bike.

Suspension Upgrades

The most notable update is the utilisation of Ohlins EC 3.0 electronically adjustable suspension. This suspension setup is designed to offer improved handling and stability for riders. The Speed Triple 1200 RS uses Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres with 120/70 R17 in the front and 190/55 R17 at the rear.

Features

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS also features standard steering dampers and lighter 17-inch wheels. The electronics also see an upgrade over the outgoing Speed Triple 1200 RS. Additionally, the wheelie control is adjustable independently from the traction control.
