Celebrating the first year anniversary of their flagship model in the country, Bajaj Auto has taken covers off the 2018 Dominar 400 range. It has been over a year since the Pune-based automaker introduced the sports tourer in India. Price for the 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 remains unchanged, starting from Rs. 1.42 lakhs for the standard non-ABS trim to Rs. 1.56 lakhs for the ABS-equipped variant (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

This update, named as the 2018 Collection, brings visual changes to the motorcycle to make it look more attractive than the outgoing version. Visual changes include new paint schemes – Rock Matte Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue – inspired by the various terrains conquered by Dominar riders in the past one year. The belly pan, which was black in the older version, now comes finished in body colour while the alloy wheels are dipped in Gold Dust shade.

Powering the Dominar 400 is the same 373cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 35 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. The DTS-i motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The bike is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and mono shock unit at the rear. Braking power comes from a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc brake. Meanwhile, the feature list remains unchanged and includes LED headlight, all-digital instrument console and optional dual-channel ABS.
