The Suzuki Intruder FI has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 1.06 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). As the name suggests, the entry-level Suzuki cruiser gets fuel injection (FI) technology with 6 sensors that calculate the optimum amount of fuel required for better combustion and hence provides an accurate throttle response across the rev range. The FI technology also helps in delivering a better riding experience and efficiency.
Visually and mechanically, the Suzuki Intruder FI is identical to the regular Intruder. Powered by the Gixxer’s 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the Intruder FI churns out 14.8 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque. The powerplant comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is available in a choice of 2 colours – Metallic Grey with Matte Black and Glass Sparkle Black with Titanium Matte Silver. The FI variant is priced at a premium of Rs. 6901/- over the carburetted model.
