2021 Force Gurkha Front
Gets G-Wagon inspired LED DRL rings on the headlights

2021 Force Gurkha interior spotted in production guise. It looks similar to the one showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Indian automaker promises to offer improved materials and more practical cabin with the new generation Gurkha.

The off-roader retains the old silhouette but will be offering modern features. The front profile is revised and the main highlight is the new LED headlight cluster with Mercedes G-Wagon inspired DRL rings. Fun fact, it is based on the old G-Wagon platform.

Other new bits include revised cladding, new alloys, larger windows, new tail lights, etc. The interior comes with a lot of new changes as well.

2021 Force Gurkha’s interior still looks old school in certain details, there is an all-new dashboard. The steering is new, which looks huge in size. There is a touchscreen infotainment system, which looks very aftermarket-like unit. There are a lot of buttons on the centre console and manual AC knobs as well.

The Indian automaker will be offering the same engine but it will be BS6 compliant. It is a 2.6-litre common-rail turbo diesel engine producing 90 BHP and 260 Nm torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV gets front and rear diff lock for off-roading.

While the timeline is still not known yet, we believe the new Force Gurkha will go on sale in the first half of this year.
