BMW 6-Series GT facelift India launch on 8th April

BMW – The German luxury carmaker will launch the updated BMW 6-Series GT facelift on 8th April. It gets sharper styling cues with tweaked headlights, tail lights, grille and bumpers. The facelifted 6-Series GT will get more features and will compete against the recently updated Mercedes E-Class.

Fuel Price – After a few days of gap, petrol and diesel prices have slashed yet again. Petrol is 22 paise cheaper while diesel is 23 paise cheaper in Delhi today. Currently petrol price in Delhi is Rs. 90.56 per litre and diesel is Rs. 80.87 per litre. Meanwhile petrol in Mumbai is Rs. 96.98 per litre and diesel is Rs. 87.96 per litre.

Vehicle Documents – Due to the pandemic, the government had extended vehicle documents validity including fitness, permit, driving licence, registration, etc. The transport ministry has now advised further extension of validity till 30th June, 2021.

Car Prices – Maruti Suzuki, Renault, Nissan and Datsun had announced car price hike recently for April. Now as expected, more carmakers have joined the bandwagon. Ford has announced a price hike of up to 3 percent. Toyota will also increase the prices across the range. However, the Japanese carmaker hasn’t disclosed the exact amount.

Motor Trivia – Did you know, Land Rover was owned by BMW when it acquired the Rover Group in 1994, the German automaker sold it to Ford in 2000.
