Hero announced that it will pass on the full GST benefit to customers, with revised prices across its entire two-wheeler lineup effective September 22. Recently, the government reduced GST on two-wheelers under 350cc from 28% to 18%. As Hero’s entire portfolio falls within this category, every model now benefits from the tax cut.
Sportsbikes & Commuter Bikes
The Karizma 210 offers the biggest saving, becoming more affordable up to Rs. 15,743. Popular performance bikes like the Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R also receive notable reductions of Rs. 14,516 and Rs. 14,055, respectively. Commuter bikes such as the Splendor+ (Rs 6,820 off), HF Deluxe (Rs 5,805 off), and Passion+ (Rs 6,500 off) also experience notable price cuts as well.
Scooters
Scooter buyers will also benefit as models like the Pleasure+ (Rs. 6,417), Destini 125 (Rs. 7,197), and Xoom 160 (Rs. 11,602) witness substantial reductions. These cuts significantly impact affordability, especially in comparison to the base ex-showroom prices. Hero believes the revised pricing arrives at the perfect time before the festive season, a period when two-wheeler sales traditionally surge.
