2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 Price

Ducati launches the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India with two variants

Ducati has expanded its India lineup with the launch of the 2025 Streetfighter V2, available in two variants – the standard model priced at Rs. 17.50 lakhs and the higher-spec Streetfighter V2 S priced at Rs. 19.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). The street-naked motorcycle joins the updated Multistrada V2 and Panigale V2 that were recently introduced in the country.

Engine and Performance

The Streetfighter V2 is powered by Ducati’s new 890cc V-twin engine that produces 120 HP at 10,750 RPM and 93.3 Nm at 8250 RPM. Although the output is lower compared to the previous 955cc unit, the new engine weighs only 54.4 kg, making it the lightest twin-cylinder motor Ducati has developed. This contributes to the motorcycle’s reduced overall weight – 178 kg for the standard variant and 175 kg (dry) for the V2 S, the latter becoming the lightest Streetfighter model yet.

Chassis, Suspension and Tyres

The standard Streetfighter V2 features a fully adjustable Marzocchi front fork and KYB rear monoshock, while the V2 S is equipped with higher-grade Ohlins suspension components including a NIX 30 fork and Ohlins rear shock. Both variants use a Sachs steering damper and come fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres in 120/70 front and 190/55 rear sizes.

Electronics and Rider Aids

A 6-axis IMU supports an extensive electronics package comprising cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and a bi-directional quickshifter. Riders can select from four riding modes – Race, Sport, Road and Wet – accessible via a 5-inch TFT display. The V2 S gets launch control and a pit limiter as standard equipment, while these features are optional on the base variant.

Market Positioning

In the Indian market, the Streetfighter V2 sits above other middleweight street-naked motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Z900 (Rs. 9.99 lakhs) and Triumph Street Triple RS (Rs. 12.93 lakhs). Its higher price reflects its more premium components and performance-oriented setup, positioning it as a niche option within the segment.
