2026 Hyundai Verna launched with updated features, styling tweaks, starting at Rs. 10.98 lakhs
Hyundai Motor India has introduced the updated 2026 Verna in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs. 10.98 lakhs (ex-showroom). The latest update brings a mix of design tweaks and additional features to the midsize sedan while retaining its existing engine options.
The refreshed Verna will be available in six variants – HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8 and HX10. Hyundai continues to offer the sedan with two 1.5-litre petrol engine choices paired with both manual and automatic transmissions. The company has also expanded the colour palette with the addition of two new shades called Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
On the exterior, the Verna receives subtle styling revisions aimed at refreshing its appearance. The front now features a black chrome radiator grille along with dual LED projector headlamps. The bumpers have been updated as part of the refresh, while the car rides on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Changes are more noticeable inside the cabin, where Hyundai has introduced several equipment upgrades. The sedan now comes with a redesigned steering wheel carrying the updated Hyundai logo. Other interior additions include leatherette seat upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a four-way electrically adjustable co-driver seat.
The updated Verna also introduces a number of new features for the segment. These include a memory function for the driver’s seat with a welcome feature, an electric walk-in device for the co-driver seat, a rear window sunshade, an integrated dashcam system and a smart trunk offering more than 528 litres of storage capacity. Safety equipment has also been expanded with the inclusion of seven airbags.
In addition to these updates, the Verna continues to offer several features already present in the model. These include a surround-view camera system, a Level 2 ADAS safety suite, ventilated front seats, a Bose eight-speaker audio system and a blind spot monitor.
